Ingredients:

  • 200 ml orange juice
  • 20 g fresh ginger (use more for a stronger flavor)
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Yes Superfood curcumin powder
  • 2 g agar-agar powder
  • 1 tbsp cold water (to dissolve the curcumin powder)


Instructions:

Infusing the Ginger:

Pour the orange juice into a small saucepan and add the peeled, thinly sliced ginger.
Heat over low heat and simmer gently for 7-10 minutes to let the ginger infuse its bold flavor into the juice.
Strain out the ginger slices and replace any lost liquid with fresh orange juice or water.

Preparing the Curcumin:

In a small bowl, mix the curcumin powder with 1 tbsp cold water until fully dissolved.

Making the Jelly Base:

Return the ginger-infused orange juice to low heat.
Stir in the agave syrup, dissolved curcumin mixture, and agar-agar powder.
Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly, and let simmer for 1-2 minutes to activate the agar-agar.

Molding and Chilling:

Pour the mixture into silicone molds and let it cool at room temperature.
Once slightly set, transfer to the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up completely.

Serving and Storage:

Once set, carefully remove the jelly bites from the molds and store them in an airtight container in the fridge. They will stay fresh for up to one week!
